In the past (and at various current AFHs) planting the resident in front of the television constituted the daily activity program. At Blessing House if you're in front of the T.V. there's a good chance your bowling or doing yoga using our Wii gaming system.
Puzzle table, card games, and board games plus we are upping the ante with tabletop fountain building, crocheting classes, quilting, gardening in our raised bed outdoor gardens, cooking classes and even outings to family type events like Tanner's Little League games.
Residents will also work on personalized on-going life stories, fun light-hearted bio's we call "My Life...so far" full of family anecdotal memories, pictures of various outings and activities and anything else the resident wants to include.
